"Yang berarti tahun ini mudah-mudahan sudah bisa kita manfaatkan BUMN Fund itu,” kata Mustafa di Kementerian BUMN, Senin (30/8).

Saat ini, ujarnya, Kementerian BUMN sedang melakukan klarifikasi dengan Kementerian Keuangan untuk membahas hal-hal yang tidak jelas waktu itu seperti masalah sumber pendanaan.

Mustafa berharap,BUMN Fund akan menjadi terobosan untuk pendanaan yang banyak terkendala aturan.

Secara prinsip, ujar Mustafa, praktek BUMN Fund sudah berjalan misalnya di PT Jamsostek dan PT Taspen, namun belum sesuai dengan format BUMN fund. Saat ini BUMN tengah merumuskan formatnya. Nantinya, keputusan menteri BUMN untuk memayungi badan BUMN Fund tersebut dan merumuskan misalnya tentang defenisi BUMN Fund, pengaturannya, rules of the game, dan sejumlah kriteria.

Mustafa mengaku belum mengetahui berapa dana BUMN fund . Ia menjelaskan perlu adanya pertemuan antara pihak-pihak terkait seperti investor, arranger, dan investee. "Investor sudah ada, arranger juga sudah potential, investeenya ini yang bertebaran tapi kita belum menyeleksi, belum menilai mana yang lebih eligible. Tinggal mempertemukan ini,” jelas dia.
